The Shubhra Kar Linux Foundation Training (LiFT) Scholarship Program aims to increase the diversity of open source technologies by providing training and certification opportunities to recipients. Since 2010, the Linux Foundation has sponsored over 5,000 passionate learners, developers, system administrators, and open source newcomers professional Open Source training and certifications. The program was renamed as the Shubhra Kar Linux Foundation Training (LiFT) Scholarship Program in 2022 in honor of Shubhra Kar, who served as the Chief Technology Officer of the Linux Foundation and tragically passed away in an accident at the beginning of 2022. Selected recipients can choose any one of LF official courses and one of LF official certification exams from the LFOSSA websites with the learning and exam costs sponsored by LFOSSA. Usage of the Scholarship: For successful applicants, scholarship vouchers will be issued to your personal accounts in the portal directly. This scholarship is for your personal use only.
