The Shubhra Kar Linux Foundation Training (LiFT) Scholarship Program aims to increase diversity in open source technology by providing access to training courses and certification exams for deserving individuals at no cost to the recipient. Since 2010, The Linux Foundation has awarded over 2000 scholarships for millions of dollars worth of specialized, technical training to those who may not have the ability to afford this opportunity otherwise. The program was renamed in memory of long time Linux Foundation CTO Shubhra Kar, who we tragically lost in early 2022. The Shubhra Kar Linux Foundation Training (LiFT) Scholarship Program China session has been launched for last 4 years, which has selected 100 receipients among a huge volume of applications last year, was in big success.(You can view this link:https://training.linuxfoundation.cn/activities/133 to learn more about the LiFT Scholarship receipients last year.)

The LiFT scholarship program China 2024 Spring session is now open. We welcome applicants from any industry and job engagement with any technical background or knowledge. By showing us your passion and enthusiasm for open-source technologies, you will have higher chance to be selected in the program. We are going to have 6 categories in the Spring program, including new category, AI Master. We welcome anyone from China, including Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan. Dont' hestiate and let your light to go shine and develop your career in open source!
入选者可以在Linux基金会开源软件学园中任意选择一门LF原生课程学习，并免费参加一次Linux基金会提供的任何LF原生认证考试，学习和考试费用由Linux基金会开源软件学园承担。优秀的申请者还会获得Linux基金会开源软件学园颁发的开源明星奖项及故事分享。
Candidates can choose any LF offical courses and take a LF offical certification exam in the Linux Foundation Open Source Software Academy. LFOSSA will sponsor you the training and certification exams. Outstanding applicants will also receive LFOSSA's Open Source Star Award.
